Delivers Accurate Sound With 4” Aluminum Woofer and ¾” Tweeter

ORA4 uses the same ¾” tweeter as ORA for smooth, extended treble suited to long listening. Its upgraded aluminum woofers dig deeper into the bass for fuller sound, with extra cone area pushing more air for higher SPL and lower extension. This makes ORA4 usable well beyond the desktop. ORA’s closer tweeter-woofer spacing gives it smoother sideways directivity, so if you place ORA4 on its side, toe it in toward your ears for best results.

Kanto ORA4 delivers neutral, reference-grade sound in a compact design. Unlike bulky studio monitors that often need external DACs or interfaces, ORA4 offers simplicity and versatility. Its small size lets it fit easily under a monitor or on a crowded desk.

Magnetically Shielded For Detailed Audio Presention

ORA 4’s woofer includes magnetic shielding, a feature once standard to prevent distortion in CRT monitors. Though phased out with LCDs, we brought it back for retro gaming. Older games relied on CRT pixel shapes, scan lines, and smoothing for their 2D art. With ORA 4, retro gamers can place speakers beside a CRT or PVM to hear every square wave and sawtooth in stunning detail.

Versatile Connectivity - Connect Wired Or Wirelessly

ORA4 includes inputs for both modern and vintage setups. RCA supports retro gamers and analog gear like turntables or cassette players. USB-C bypasses weak computer audio with support up to 24-bit/96 kHz, while Bluetooth® 5.0 enables wireless pairing with smartphones and smart home devices.

Tactile Volume Controls and LED Indicators

The front LED shows input selection—Green for RCA, Yellow for USB, and Blue for Bluetooth®. A multifunction knob switches inputs with a press, adjusts volume with a twist, and powers the speaker on/off with a hold. ORA4 also features ¼”-20 inserts on the rear and bottom for wall mounting or use with Kanto stands.

Adopts DSP Tuning For Accurate Audio Presentation

A traditional crossover splits high and low frequencies with analog components. ORA 4 uses full DSP to set crossover points digitally, giving more precise control of the range sent to each driver. DSP also manages the sub-out, filtering below 80 Hz with a steep 24 dB/octave slope when a sub is connected. A complimentary high-pass filter lets ORA’s 3” woofers focus on midrange, reducing distortion and enabling louder, cleaner transients.

Designed With 70W RMS Class-D Amplifier And Bi-Ampified Architecture

ORA4 uses the same bi-amplified topology as ORA but with more wattage to drive its larger woofers. As a fully active speaker, each driver is separately powered and tuned. Its 70 W RMS class-D amplifier is split into four channels with 12 W to each tweeter and 23 W to each woofer.
